ICCN, within the framework of its program on civil society development, organizes the discussion series: Liberal Values and Democratic Transformation. The goal of this activity is to promote liberal discourse in our society; to raise awareness about the spectrum of problems; to involve an increasing number of professionals in discussions; and, through these activities, to create an enabling envioronment for the dissemination of liberal values in Georgian society.
The topic of our first discussion was "Solidarity". We tried to gain a deeper insight into the concept of solidarity. During the discussion, the term was determined. The presenters were Nino Tsikhistavi, gender expert, and Emzar Jgerenaia, sociologist.
